MG372 - Romp
Romp has been loved from the start and well cared for, stored under cover when not in use. A good performer (1st Summer Series and 1st Summer Sprint Series, 2023-24 season, at Lake Cootharaba S.C.), with everything in good working order. Recently voted the “prettiest boat on the beach” by a passing spectator!
Aero 11b hull in great condition, with anti-skid floor and side decks.
Mast and spinnaker pole are carbon fibre, with an alloy boom. Foils in very good condition and has an adjustable length tiller extension.
2 full sets of sails by Mid Coast. The older set of sails is in good condition and was used for mostly for club racing. The newer set of sails is in very good condition and used for Club, State and National Championships (the new jib first used 2023-24 Nationals – only about 15 races in total). All sails have individual sail bags and, to ensure protection, the working sails are rolled onto poly-pipe before bagging.
Includes tailored boat cover, foils bag, boom and mast covers and comes complete with registered light-weight aluminium road trailer, tailor made to take the stainless-steel beach trolley, which has inflatable tyres.
Trapeze ‘wires’ and many of the lines have been renewed, using Dyneema, within the last 12 months.
Romp is ready to race and mix it with the best of them!
